Ciao amici,
I hope you’ve had a lovely week wherever you are in the world. This is just a short note from me this week, as I’ve spent the last few days a little under the weather (it is February after all, which as my Italian reminded me has a lot to do with the word ‘fever’ in Italian).
Are you craving la dolce vita? No one does ‘the sweet life’ like the Italians do, or rather, like you will on holiday in this amazing country! I’d love to help you experience just what la dolce vita really means this year on one of our Untold Italy tours. Bookings have almost closed for our Spring/Summer 2022 tours, so if you want to keep, do let us know!
There were some big updates during the week to the Italian Green Pass (travel requirement) which you’ll want to know about if you’re planning on travelling here this year. More info below. And finally, next week’s virtual tour sees us off to magical Venice.

Updates to Italy’s COVID Green Pass
There’s been a lot of uncertainty this year for people wanting to travel in Italy and the green pass rules. There was a new update on the 3 Feb that’s exciting and offers a lot more clarification for hopeful travellers.
“The validity of the green pass will become unlimited for those who have had three doses – or two doses and have already had Covid-19” (from February 7th)

Instagram Live City Tour: Venice with Sinù
Sunday 13 February, 11:30am Italy/9:30pm Melb/Sydney
Next weekend prepare to be whisked away to magical Venice. I connected with local Sinù last year via her Instagram page and was simply enthralled with her content. She is a food & slow living writer and lives on the mainland about 4km from the lagoon. Have a read of her great post on sustainable ways to visit Venice to get you in the mood for our live. She also has a gorgeous newsletter where she translates Venetian recipes into English if you are interested in trying some. During her virtual tour, Sinù will show us Campo Santa Margherita, and walk along the Zattere. It’s going to be fabulous and I do hope you’ll join us. Please let me know if you have any questions for our guest.
Buona domenica, or happy Sunday everyone.
